What is it?
This is your one-stop-shop for information about accessible social and community events.

We list all accessible events such as:
- Films with captions or subtitles or audio description
- Theatre with audio description, captions or British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation
- Events with access for autism
- Community Events such as Signing in the Community BSL Fun Day
Our site is in development and running at first only in the North West of England. Because we are still developing we don’t have every North West accessible event. To make it really useful for all of us with access needs we need you to list your events on the site, tell us about events we don’t know about, use the site and tell your friends and family about it.
Who is this for?
This site is for everyone. Everyone is affected by disability and access needs at some stage in their lives.
- Disabled and deaf people and people with access needs
- Their families, partners, friends, colleagues and support workers
- Event providers – Theatres, Galleries, Cinemas, Sports events and local and national government
Why are we doing it?
It is the 21st Century. We don’t want people with access needs missing out on life. Listing accessible events encourages organisations to ensure their events are fully accessible. It strengthens deaf and disabled communities with confident deaf or disabled people enjoying their lives, meeting their friends and being a full part of society.
